If a student is in his/her pre-final year of graduation, he/she can now secure access mentorship of Indian School of Business (ISB) for two years after graduation besides an offer of admission into ISB’s post-graduate programme in management.ISB has introduced a fresh perspective to gaining expertise in Management - the Young Leaders Programme (YLP) for undergraduate students.
YLP provides guaranteed admission to a future, much sought after, One-Year Post Graduate Programme (PGP) at ISB, upon completion of one year and nine months of work experience. The programme will offer pre-admission into its programme to undergraduate students with excellent academic and extra-curricular credentials. The programme also accelerates career growth during the two pre-PGP years vide structured cutting edge learning and mentorship programmes and concludes with admission to the PGP in Management.
The selected few (about 50 students) would be offered leadership training for two years after graduation during which they are supposed to be employed. The selected candidates would also be assigned a mentor who would asses his/ her strengths and weakness and groom the candidate to become a young leader.
For a business school, it is very important that students come with some kind of experience in corporate world. The YLP programme will offer a deferred admission and two learning programmes yearly.
