Ajay Jain, the 1991 batch AP cadre IAS officer, is a domicile of Uttar Pradesh. He pursued his Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. As a civil servant, Ajay Jain worked as the District Collector of Ranga Reddy and Kurnool. He was also the Managing Director for APGenCo. from 2004 to 2009.
