The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education on Wednesday finalised the universities for conducting Eamcet and other Common Entrance Tests (CETs) in 2012. The schedule for CETs will be announced on January 7, 2012.

JNTU-Hyderabad, which has been selected for conducting Eamcet-2012, will create a record of sorts by conducting Eamcet for the 15th time. Kakatiya University has been given the chance to conduct ICet for MBA/ MCA admissions, while the Osmania University was given PG Engineering CET (PGECET) for M.Tech/ M.Pharma admissions.Andhra University will conduct Education CET (Edcet) for B.Ed admissions and Sri Venkateshwara University will conduct Lawcet for LLB/ LLM admissions.Nagarjuna University has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting Physical Education CET while JNTU-Kakinada will conduct ECET for polytechnic courses admissions.
