In the backdrop of a probe revealing that several medical students in Madhya Pradesh had gained admissions by fraudulent means, akin to those in movie Munna Bhai MBBS, the government said all such students would be asked to quit their courses.

A government probe panel in a report submitted last month stated over 100 students had passed their pre-medical tests by hiring others to write the examinations for them. MoS for medical education Mahendra Hardia admitted there are rackets that help students get through PMT by asking others to appear for them.
