Thousands of students who have applied for two different recruitment exams, are a worried lot as they have to choose one of the two exams because both are scheduled on Sunday at the same time. Candidates are annoyed with the officials calling them “irresponsible” and playing with the lives of the unemployed by scheduling both the exams on a single day and time. They demanded that the state government direct one of the recruitment agencies to reschedule the exam to safeguard the interests of thousands of students.

The RTC has scheduled the junior assistant (personnel) recruitment exam for Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm, while the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commi-ssion is also conducting the junior stenographer and typist recruitment exam on the same day and time, forcing the students to skip one exam.“We cannot skip recruitment exams as we will lose an opportunity to get a government job. Moreover, recruitment exams are not conducted regularly like other exams,” said Mr G.Madhav, who has applied for both the exams.
