Candidates seeking admission in the IITs under the reserved categories with fake certificates or false claims will not only lose admission but will be declared ineligible for the IIT-JEE in future.
The Organising Chairman of IIT-JEE 2012, Prof. G.B. Reddy, said that allotment of any seat or offer of allotment of seat in any of the reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC or Minority was provisional and the admission will be confirmed only after receiving the verification reports from the concerned District Magistrates or issuing authorities. Prof. Reddy asked all candidates to exercise caution at the time of submitting their category certificates and to submit the same only after ensuring their genuineness.
