The Board of Intermediate Education on Monday announced a Tatkal scheme for students who failed to pay examination fee within the deadline, to appear for the forthcoming Inter exams in March.
Under the scheme, students will be allowed to pay the examination fee from November 28 to December 10. The Tatkal fee is `500, apart from the Inter first year fee of `240, and second year fee of `240.
Those seeking attendance exemption fee have to pay an additional `500 in addition to the exam fee.
Students opting for the Tatkal scheme have to pay at their respective colleges following which the applications will be forwarded.
However, they have to write the examinations at the centres allotted by the BIE.
