According to a notice released on CBSE's website, the last date for applying online to JEE (Main) 2013 has been extended from 15 December to 24 December 2012.

Citing that it had received many applications even after the initially set last date (15 Dec) and considering that this would be the first exam of JEE (Main) to be conducted in 2013, CBSE decided to extend the last date of filling up JEE(Main) 2013 online application form. However the last date won't be extended any further now.

The notice further stated that the duly filled confirmation page, along with the demand draft (if the fee is paid through DD), must be sent by registered/ speed post only to the JEE (Main) Secretariat and that these should reach the office on or before 31 December 2012. Any confirmation pages received after that won't be accepted, according to Rajbir Singh, joint secretary of JEE 2013.

JEE (Main) Exam 2013 Exam Dates:
JEE (Main) Exam 2013 (Offline) - 7th April 2013 (both Paper 1 & Paper 2) - This exam is being held for admissions to B.Arch/B.Planning courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs.
JEE (Main) Exam 2013 (Online)- Between 8th April & 30th April 2013 (only Paper 1) - This exam is being held for admissions to B.E./B.Tech courses at NITs, IIITs, DTU, Delhi and other CFTIs.

The online application forms for JEE Main 2013 was available from 8 November 2012.
