Australian former cricketer Michael Kasprowicz visited the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IIT-H), and the Collectorate in Sangareddy on Tuesday and held discussions with the IIT-H officials and the District Collector. According to Collector A. Dinakarbabu, Mr. Kasprowicz has been working as the director in University of Queensland, Australia. One Sharma, a native of Hyderabad, who was working in the university, brought a team from there to hold discussions with the representatives of IIT-H. The University of Queensland is interested in having a tie-up with IIT-H in the field of mining, the Collector added.
