The Girijana Vishwavidyalaya Sadhana Samithi on Thursday gave a call for bandh of all educational institutions in Adilabad district on February 1. The Samithi demanded establishment of the Tribal University in Adilabad as promised by the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in the past.

Addressing a press conference Samithi convenor Vedma Bojju said the government had caused injustice to the backward and poor tribal area of Adilabad by allocating the Tribal University to Warangal district. He said the Samithi will take up agitation in future if the government does not concede their demand.
