Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has declared that it will conduct the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) for admissions in medical and paramedical courses on May 10.
Board officials said that the CCTV cameras will be installed in exam centres in each district. The exam will of 120 marks -- 40 marks each of physics, biology and chemistry.
Board officials said that the exam was scheduled to be held in second week of May as all-India entrance exams were scheduled in the first week of May. Students will be required to fill online forms, dates of which will be declared soon. Nearly 35,000 students will appear in the exam which carries 40% weightage in the admissions, while 60% weightage is given to marks secured in board exams.
