ONGOLE : Acharya Nagarjuna University planned to go more collaboration with foreign universities to offer both traditional and non-convention courses for the benefit of students, said its Vice-Chancellor A. Rajendra Prasad. A memorandum of understanding was on the pipeline for offering its range of courses in 18 African countries, he told reporters after interacting with the professors of the ANU P.G.Centre here on Monday. At present, over 400 international students pursued courses at ANU and this number would go up in the future, he said.
“We will design the courses for universities in the African countries and our faculty will give their expertise in running the courses. The MOU is likely to materialise in the new academic year,” he said.
ANU would go for accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), a benchmark in quality of education offered by the university, he said.
