NIZAMABAD:The district administration has geared up for conducting Intermediate first and second year public examinations beginning March 2 in an effective manner without leaving scope for any kind of lapses.
A total of 57,865 candidates are expected to take the exams of both the years at as many as 70 centres across the district. Hall tickets would be issued to 27,813 first-year students and 30,062 to second year students. The exam would be held from 9 a.m. to noon. However, students need to be present in the hall by 8.45 a.m. Collector Yogitha Rana said that for the smooth conduct of the public examinations in a peaceful manner, Section 144 would be clamped down in and around the centres. Four flying squads would be roaming around and police personnel would be deployed for security, she said. She issued the instructions to authorities to take all measures to provide required facilities at the examination centres. Apart from the water facility, medical aid and ORS packets would also be kept available for the students. All photocopy centres would be closed during the examination time till the end of the exams March 15, she said.
