NEW DELHI: Jamia Millia Islamia has decided to introduce nine new courses in Arab-Islamic Culture, Chinese language and Social Inclusion and Inclusive Policy among others from the upcoming academic session.

"Jamia is introducing nine new courses from the 2016-17 academic session including- MA Politics, International and Area Studies, MA Arab-Islamic Culture, MTech Computer Engineering, MTech Electronics and Communication Engineering, MA Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy," the university spokesperson said.

"The other new courses include Certificate in Chinese Language (Part-time), Diploma in Chinese Language (Part-time) Intensive Diploma in Chinese Language and BA LLB (Hons) (self-financed)," he added.
There will be a common entrance test for admission to diploma courses (Regular an Self -Financed) of University Polytechnic, Faculty of Engineering and Technology.


"Besides, the new courses the BA with Computer Application (BACA) course has been merged with BA Programme and its total intake has been increased to 65," the spokesperson said.
The university is seeking applications for its various undergraduate, post-graduate and Diploma/Certificate programmes through online mode. The last date to apply is April 21.


A helpline has also been introduced to help the applicants.
