Adikavi Nannaya University is all set to offer programmes like CPA to enable the youth seeking jobs abroad by tying up with University of Virgin Island (UVI), USA, on Tuesday.
Stephen Reames, Dean, School of Business, UVI, James Maddirala, Associate Professor, Global Engagement, Academic Affairs, UVI, and I.V. Muralikrishna, former Professor, JNTU, Hyderabad, had a partnership meeting with Adikavi Nannaya University Vice-Chancellor Mutyala Naidu, Academic Affair Dean S. Teki, Registrar E.N. Dhanunjaya Rao and Principal of University Arts College K.S. Ramesh and the faculty of the university and its affiliated colleges.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Mutyala Naidu said that the UVI centre on the university campus here would be the first CPA centre in India and the second in the world after Dubai. The perspective professional accountants, who are presently going abroad to appear for the CPA examination, can now appear it in India.
