Mumbai: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) extended the deadline for online choice-filling of options for admissions to IITs and NITs. Students can now fill options till noon on June 29.
In all, 1.54 lakh students registered on JOSAA and filled around 1.2 crore options till Monday evening. Of these, 32,220 registered for IITs alone and filled around 33.75 lakh choices. JOSAA displayed the mock seat allotment list on Monday to give an indication to students on where they will be allotted seats in the actual list.
Students may not get the same seat as the one allotted in the mock process. JOSAA is regulating admissions in 92 central institutes including IITs and NITs.
