After attending three rounds of medical entrance tests in Telangana and two tests - one in Andhra Pradesh and NEET, medical aspirants will finally enter the colleges that will be start from Monday.
It was a long wait for students, the longest ever perhaps for medical aspirants, as they had to write three tests in Telangana and two more to realise their dream. The EAMCET-I medical part was not considered due to confusion over NEET while EAMCET-II was cancelled after paper leakage.
The admissions now are made based on the ranks obtained in EAMCET-III.
The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, which is in a hurry to start the colleges keeping in view the Supreme Court deadline on medical admissions to end this month-end, has decided to start the colleges even though the second phase of counselling is on.
The second round of web counselling for studetns will begin on Monday with students allowed to give web options from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for both MBBS and BDS seats.
The web allotments for the second phase will be done on September 27.
