The Hindu , in association with Blue Star, is organising the ‘Excellence in Education-2016’ conference on Tuesday (November 29) at Taj Krishna. Entry is by invitation only.
The conclave will be inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiam Srihari, while the keynote address will be delivered by Minister for IT K. Taraka Rama Rao.
‘Excellence in Education’ will bring together academicians and industrialists on a common platform to discuss, among others, the importance of the education sector and current issues and opportunities to enhance education in Telangana and beyond.
The highlights of the conference will be panel discussions between academicians, senior corporate leaders, and research specialists. There will be three sessions — gap between education provided and industry requirement, sustainability in the institution architecture, and digitalisation in education.
The speakers include P.J. Narayanan, director, IIIT-Hyderabad; Santanu Paul, managing director, TalentSprint; T. Muralidharan, managing director, TMI Network; Sujith Kumar, HR business leader, Infosys; Ramesh Loganathan, managing director, Progress Software; and Ganesh Subramanian, director, Chrysalis.
The panel will engage the audience with interactive sessions, giving them an opportunity to learn from experts in the field. A special session with one of India’s leading experts in sustainable architecture, Karan Grover, will also be a highlight of the conference.
The event is for heads of educational institutes like higher secondary schools, international and boarding schools, colleges, and deemed universities. Participation is by invite only.
