Congress leader and former whip T. Jayaprakash Reddy has said that they would fight for the establishment of a Medical College at Sangareddy and alleged that the government had neglected the proposal sent during the tenure of former chief minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Speaking to reporters here on Monday, Mr. Jayaprakash Reddy wondered why the local legislator Chinta Prabhakar was silent when medical college proposed for Sangareddy was hijacked to Siddipet.
“Both Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao represented the united Medak district with headquarters at Sangareddy. After formation of the new district they simply forgot the other areas and are taking all the projects and programmes to Siddipet district alone. Is Sangareddy not part of Telangana?” he asked. He has also wondered by Mr. Prabhakar was failing to bring the Chief Minister to the district headquarters.
