KARIMNAGAR: The Karimnagar town, which celebrated its centenary celebrations (1905-2005), is all set to celebrate 125 years of the existence of the CSI High School (1884-2009).
The school was established in the year 1884 as a primary school by the missionaries. The school students occupy various positions in the country and abroad. A student of the school P. Jayavenkata Koti Suryaprakash Rao is working as a scientist in the NASA.
The school also produced several sportspersons and politicians in the district.
In view of 125 years celebrations, the school authorities and the alumni have decided to convene an old students’ meet on September 12 in the CSI school in the town. CSI head mistress B. Deva Ashirvadham told The Hindu that they are inviting all the students, who passed out of the school from the year 1944 to 2009 to attend the old students meet.
B. Deva Ashirvadham said that they had planned to celebrate the 125 years of the school on a grand scale by involving old students on November 7 and 8 in Karimnagar.
