Experienced faculty with extra pay to be drafted for coaching
NELLORE: Here is good news for the students studying in government junior and aided colleges in the district. The district administration is planning to start free EAMCET coaching in 15 centres from October 1.
As most of the parents and students are getting attracted to EAMCET coaching being given for Science group and prefer private junior colleges to secure a good rank in EAMCET entrance test, the district officials have proposed to provide coaching for the students of government and aided colleges in Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district.
The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has given permission to launch coaching centres in selected government colleges and provide experienced lecturers in mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany and zoology subjects.

“We have decided to run government colleges on a par with private and corporate institutions and provide quality education to the students. Experienced lecturers, those in service and outside, would be appointed by paying additional income for taking classes at these coaching centres. EAMCET coaching would be given to the students along with regular classes and weekly and monthly tests would be conducted to train students for engineering and medicine entrance test”, said Mr.Ramgopal.
BIE Regional Inspection Officer S. David said a team of officials headed by the district Collector are making efforts to select the coaching centres in 14 more colleges.
