GUNTUR: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Kakinada representative Y. Prakash on Thursday inaugurated a blog of the Narsaraopet-based Eswar College of Engineering from the college computer centre.

Eswar College was one of the few colleges in Guntur district to have its own website or blog, said college principal V. Murthy Rao and detailed on how to share the ideas, skills and creativity of students at the engineering college through this online forum.

College correspondent Sk. Kareem explained the objectives of starting the blog and the college director Sk. Sharif said this would benefit engineering students immensely.

The representative of JNTU also explained about the JNTU-K system of attendance, credits, detention system and the measures for implementing anti-ragging law on the college premises. All B.Tech., MBA students and staff attended the inaugural function.
