GUNTUR: Two students got selected for representing the Acharya Nagarjuna University at the Inter-University National Youth Festival to be organised next month in Rohtak University.

The two students Ravikanth in classical vocal solo and Sk.S.M. Basha in Rangoli competitions stood in the second place in the Silver Jubilee South Zone Inter-University Youth Festival organised on the Mysore University campus this week.

This victory qualified them to represent the university at the national level.

Three others won third prizes at the South Zone level in folk orchestra -- SDMS Sidhartha Mahila College, classical dance (KLCE) - K. Anusha and tribal folk dance -- SDMS Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala.

Meanwhile, the University proposes to set up a College of Sports Sciences in the Physical Education Department from the next Academic year to promote sporting activity
