Hyderabad: Over 5,000 job seekers visited the Jumbo Job Fair organised by Timesjobs.com and Thomson Reuters at Hitex Exhibition Centre, Madhapur, on Saturday. The fair will continue until Sunday (from 10 am to 5 pm) and has participation from companies across various industry sectors.

On the first day of the fair, more than 600 candidates were shortlisted for jobs by various firms.    The companies that have participated in the event include Thomson Reuters, Apollo Health Street, HSBC, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, Dell, Franklin Templeton, Cognizant, IBM, GE Money Servicing, Kenexa Fortune Infra and Unisys.

Meanwhile, Times IT Com Fair started on Saturday at The Times of India office, Road No. 3, Banjara Hills and had on offer the best tech deals.  The two-day fair has information technology majors including Samsung, Canon, HP, eScan, Intel, Beam Telecom, Casio, Acer, Nikon, Sat Guide, Kodak, Panasonic, Intex and Olympus exhibiting their latest product range and offering discounts and offers on purchases made. The fair will continue on Sunday as well from 10 am to 7 pm.
