KARIMNAGAR: The National Board of Examinations of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has granted professional accreditation to the Venkateshwara Kidney Centre in Karimnagar town to offer three-year PG course in Urology.
Dr. R. Yakaiah, a senior urologist of Venkateshwara Hospital told The Hindu here on Wednesday that the PG course would commence from 2010. Candidates would be selected through common examination test conducted by the NBE, New Delhi. The selected candidate would be posted to the Venkateshwara Hospital for pursuing his education in PG Urology courses. Candidates who completed MS general surgery are eligible for the course.
Venkateshwara Kidney Centre is the fourth hospital in the State to offer such course.
