KARIMNAGAR: Elaborate arrangements were being made for the smooth conduct of SSC examinations, scheduled to begin from March 22 in Karimnagar district.
A total of 76,260 students including 39,517 boys and 36,743 girls will appear for the examinations to be held in 293 centres in the district. The Education Department drafted chief superintendents, 293 departmental officers, bar coding supervisors, 3,787 invigilators and 14 flying squads to check any malpractices.
At a review meeting here on Thursday, Collector Sandeep Kumar Sultania asked the RTC authorities to operate more bus services for the benefit of students coming from rural areas to various examination centres.
He instructed the medical authorities to deploy medical teams at the centres and the RWS authorities to provide protected drinking water.
