The university will provide best possible education, says chairman
GUNTUR: A technical exhibition that is part of the 10th Vignan Mahotsav, was formally inaugurated on Friday, a day ahead of the inaugural of the two-day festivities on the university campus at Vadlamudi in Guntur district.
Exhibition divided into four broad categories -- Chemical-Pharmacy; Computer Science-Information Technology; Electrical Electronics- Mechanical; and Civil Engineering; was opened by Indo-Nocop Industries Chief Executive officer Dilip Kumar on the campus giving a call for putting up exhibits that were innovative and research-inspiring.
Appreciating the 850 exhibits put up by 129 colleges, he said that the ideas of the exhibits should be such that they were useful for the common man in the society.
The exhibition is open for the students of school and Intermediate colleges in addition to the engineering students participating in the Mahotsav.
The Vignan University, which completed one year of its inception, celebrated the anniversary on the campus with the Vignan Group chairman Lavu Rathaiah instilling confidence among the students and staff that the university would provide best possible education to the students with the aid of quality infrastructure.
Vignan Mahotsav will be formally inaugurated on Saturday at which about 20,000 students are expected to participate with 10,000 of them participating in some competition or the other.
