Hyderabad: The government has decided to postpone the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination to be conducted on Tuesday in all the 17 police station limits of the old city where curfew has been imposed.
Mathematics paper-II is scheduled on Tuesday. Students residing in those areas but have centres in other places of the city will also be given a chance to write the examination whenever it is conducted again. However, students have to prove that they reside in the curfew-imposed areas. There are 149 examination centres in the 17 police station limits and about 30,000 students are appearing for the exam from these centres. Another 30,000 students residing in these areas have examination centres in other parts of the city. A decision on the examination to be held on Wednesday will be taken after assessing the situation on Tuesday.
