Thousands of students in old city misse the SSC exam on Tuesda due to the curfew. The gov ernment's "poor decision to postpone the exam onl in those centres where the curfew was imposed didn’t help as many students could not leave their houses.

Reports from old city said that nearly 5,000 students missed the exam. Officials, however, said only 160 students missed the exam.
