WARANGAL: The only shortcut to success is commitment and hard work and hence students give their undivided attention to their goals, said Dr. M. Vidyasagar Reddy, associate professor of Public Administration.
Participating as chief guest at a seminar on personality development organised by the Landmark Institute of Professional Studies here on Kakatiya University campus, Mr. Reddy said most of the students, particularly those hailing from rural areas always while away their time thinking they do not know English or some other subject. Instead, they should begin their work towards mastering that particular subject.
Quoting a recent article from The Hindu, the senior academic said a Punjabi girl of ordinary brought up got through the Civil Services and became an IAS officer against all odds. “The girl used to secure The Hindu paper from 30 kilometres and often, she got a week day issues at a time. But, she always waited for it patiently,” he said seeking to know was any student ready to give undivided attention.
Dr. Vidyasagar Reddy urged the students to keep themselves away from attention dividing things.
