NELLORE: A three-member Joint Action Committee (JAC) constituted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) visited the PG colleges, which applied for introducing new courses under Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) limits in the district on Tuesday. VSU got affiliating status from this academic year and more than 100 institutions came under the new university in Nellore district. VSU Vice-Chancellor C.R. Visweswara Rao said eight colleges applied for starting Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and English courses from this year. The council will grant new courses after verifying the facilities in the institutions, he said.
