Hyderabad: Sunaina Singh, Professor of English at Osmania University has been appointed the President of Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute, a bi-national institution established in 1968 and funded by the Government of India and the Government of Canada.

She is the first woman President from India since the Institute became fully Bi-national in 2005.
