Guntur: Vignan University has rolled out three M.Tech programmes in collaboration with industries from the academic year 2010-2011, said V. Govardhana Rao, Vice-Chancellor. The university, as part of institution-industry collaboration, entered into MoU with leading industries.

M.Tech (CAD/CAM/CAE) is being supported by Satyam Venture Engineering Services Ltd. and Gowra Technologies, while Efftronics is associated with M.Tech (Embedded Systems) and LGS Global Services backs M.Tech (CSC) with ERP specialisation.

Curriculum

The industries also participated in curriculum design and development, Dr. Govardhana Rao said.

The V-C added that industry experts would teach a few courses which required industrial exposure and case studies, extend their facilities for the students to carry out projects and offer placement assistance.
