VISAKHAPATNAM: Classes for students admitted into the five-year dual degree (BE plus ME and B.Tech. plus M.Tech.) programmes will commence on Thursday, Director of Andhra University Directorate of Admissions O. Aniel Kumar informed.

Last date for cancellation of admission into these programmes, with 90 per cent refund is October 1. Cancellation will also be done without refund after October 1. Prof. Aniel Kumar also informed that some seats are available in these programmes and counselling for second phase of admissions will be held from 9 a.m. on October 3 for vacant seats under SC, ST and BC categories and on October 4 under general category. The counselling will be done at the AU College of Engineering auditorium here.
