VISAKHAPATNAM: Sambhav '10, an all-India B-school meet being organised by the GITAM School of International Business was off to a colourful start here on Thursday. Visakhapatnam Port Trust Deputy Chairman G.V.L. Satya Kumar inaugurated the three-day event. Vice-Chancellor G. Subramanyam, School of International Business Director V.K. Kumar and others participated. Reputed business schools from different parts of the country are participating in the meet and CEOs and senior executives of reputed industrial and business houses will deliver lectures and interact with the delegates.
Competitions
The event was meant to tap the talent of the students with respect to various aspects of management through competitions like HR Stress Game, Dalal Street, Business Plan, Ad Making, Social Entrepreneurship, B-Quiz, Case Analysis, poetry and technical paper presentation.
Consul visit
US Consul General Katherine S. Dhanani is visiting GITAM University on Saturday. Ms. Dhanani was trained as an economist at the Kenyon College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and taught economics at Grinnel College before joining the Foreign Service.
