NELLORE: Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) Vice-Chancellor C.R. Visweswara Rao visited NBKR Institute of Technology at Vidyanagar in the district on Friday.

He along with Registrar V. Narayana Reddy inspected the college library, computer labs, class rooms, dining halls, laboratories, hostel rooms and interacted with the students. He enquired the junior students on whether they were facing any ragging or eve-teasing problem with seniors in the hostels. Mr. Rao directed the college officials to arrange anti-ragging posters, banners and the copies of Anti-Ragging Act in the notice board. He instructed the staff to arrange regular meetings with the faculty, students and parents' committees to prevent ragging menace. The registrar enquired the students about facilities in class rooms and labs, maintenance of sanitation in hostels. Chairman I.Gopal Reddy, Correspondent Nedurumalli Ram Kumar were present.
