KAKINADA:U. Vishal and Ch. Tejaswini of Nalanda Vidyaniketan, Kakinada, emerged winners of the district-level Reliance Dhirubai Ambani Quiz-2010 held at the Reliance plant in Gadimoga here on Tuesday. The Reliance conducted the quiz in three levels at Amalapuram, Rajahmundry and Kakinada and selected two teams each for the finals.

Quizmaster V.V. Ramanan conducted the quiz in three rounds covering various topics from history to science and technology, besides testing the commonsense of the participants.

The 90-minute-long quiz also tested the intellect of the audience consisting of Reliance employees and students who participated in the preliminary rounds of the event.

The Nalanda team that excelled well from the very first round scored bonus marks by answering various questions instantly. K.R.S. Teja and L.R. Krishna of Sriprakash Vidyaniketan, Tuni, adjudged as runners up.

District Superintendent of Police G. Srinivas, who was the chief guest, advised the corporate groups to focus on government-run schools and contribute their might for improving basic amenities there.
