TIRUPATI: Dravidian University Vice-Chancellor Cuddapah Ramanaiah received the prestigious ‘Amity Academic Excellence Award' at the International Business Horizon (INBUSH) conference held at the Amity Global Business School campus at Noida recently.
The conference was held under the theme ‘Leadership challenges in creating and leading new generation innovative organisations'.
Of the four Vice-Chancellors who received the honour, Prof. Ramanaiah was the lone person from South India. He received the award from Gurinder Singh, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Amity University, in recognition of his endeavour to promote and preserve the variety of Dravidian cultural manifestations.
Sharing his joy on receiving the award at a media conference on Friday, Prof. Ramanaiah dedicated the award to the ‘uniqueness of Dravidian culture'.
He also inaugurated the digital library, a state-of-the-art facility developed for the benefit of the students and research scholars.
