HYDERABAD: The Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, on Thursday said the state government will spend `3,400 crore this year to fund the education of 26 lakh students belonging to the SC, ST, BC, EBC and minority categories.
Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy, who participated as chief guest at the fourth Foundation Day celebrations of the Hyderabad campus of the prestigious BITS-Pilani, expressed his desire to take admission into the institute if there is a suitable course of six-month duration.
“The BITS-Pilani campus in Hyderabad has became a reality due to the efforts of former CM YSR and founder chancellor of BITS Dr K.K. Birla,“ he said.
