HYDERABAD : As many as 23,448 students were declared qualified in the Engineering Common Entrance Test for diploma holders (ECET-FDH) and for B.Sc (Maths) students.
The results were announced on Saturday. The overall pass percentage stood at 97 per cent. A total of 24,172 students appeared for the exam. In all, 98.3 per cent or 6,088 girl students of the 6,129 who appeared for the exam cleared it. Among boys, the pass percentage was 96.6, or 17,440 out of 18,043 applicants.
The exam was held for 13 streams of engineering courses. Qualified students are eligible to take admission directly in the second year of engineering courses through lateral entry.
