WARANGAL: The common entrance test for admission into various courses of Satavahana and Kakatiya Universities being conducted by the latter would be held from May 31 to June 7.
KU Admissions director A. Sitaram Naik said the test would be held at 22 centres in two sessions from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and between 2.30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Prof. Naik said maximum number of applications 8,278 were received for M Sc (Chemistry) course against the seats 1,170 (KU) and 600 (SU) followed by 5,566 applications for M Com as against the seats 1,171 (KU) and 590 in Satavahana university. A total of 2,574 candidates would be appearing for the M A (Economics) for 255 seats in Kakatiya and 190 seats in Satavahana University.
Prof. Naik said there would be no entrance test for courses M A (Sanskrit), M A (Urdu), M Sc (Geology) and PG Diploma in Clinical Biochemistry. Candidates who have not received their hall tickets may download the same from the university website www.kakatiya.ac.in or www.kuexams.com.
